Science with Purpose: Grade 10 Learners in Action

From February 23 to 27, Grade 10 learners culminated their junior high school science journey by presenting their Science Investigatory Projects. More than developing science knowledge and process skills, the program nurtures learners’ critical thinking, creativity, and belief that they can make meaningful contributions to their community.

From exploring ways to enhance plant growth to creating devices that can help improve processes in the school community, their investigations reflected a shared desire to make a difference and contribute to the betterment of the Manresan community.

This endeavor reflects the school’s vision of holistic learning by nurturing the mind, the heart, and the hand in forming Christ-centered, globally competent, and self-actualized persons for the good of our neighbors, in service of the Church and the world, while also aligning with national curricular and international standards that aim to develop scientifically, technologically, environmentally, and engineering literate learners
