The Science Teachers with Sr. Nori Marquez, F.I.

Taking the lead as one of the department’s research consultants, Mr. Eleazar Solas, with the full support of the school administration headed by Sr. Nori, organized the JHS Research Forum last June 23, 2025 which was a huge success. Six areas from the dedicated and talented JHS teachers shared their valuable research with the department, sparking great discussion and profound learning. Their commitment to continuous learning and innovation is evident in every project. 

Garnering the highest rating from the panelists based on the set criteria, the Science Area received a special recognition as their research was awarded the Best Research at this batch's forum. The team’s exceptional dedication, the comprehensiveness of their work and their scientific rigor truly stood out. Congratulations!

The following research were presented successfully and meaningfully.

Best Research: Investigating the Impact of Science Investigatory Projects on Science Process Skills of Grade 10 Learners in Manresa School by the Science Area presented by Mr. Ian Gabriel B. Rosales.

The Effectiveness of a Grade-Level Focused CLE Curriculum by the CLE-VE Area presented by Mr. Eleazar Solas.

A Comparison of Individual and Grouping Shoptalk Presentation as Special Program for Grade 8 TLE/THE Students SY 2022-2023 by the THE-TLE Area presented by Mr. Justine Kenneth Magtibay.

PEnaSAYA Program: A Gamification Strategy in Enhancing the Flexibility and Cardiovascular Endurance of Grade 8-10 Students in Manresa School by the PE Area presented by Ms. Nicole Ann V. Matin-ao.

Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Examining Grade 8 Students’ Acceptance of Online Gamified Activities during Class Encounter by Mr. Fredie Rick P. Llorando of the Computer Area.

The department's communal endeavors reflect the school's shared commitment to fostering a dynamic and sustainable research culture.

This first-ever JHS Research Forum proved to be an incredibly enriching experience for all, establishing a new benchmark for continuous growth, development, and enhanced quality education.
