Journeying Together, Stronger Together: MSPA Holds Team-Building Activity for Faculty and Staff

On October 18, 2025, the Manresan School Parents Auxiliary (MSPA) successfully conducted a team-building activity for selected teachers and staff at the Old Gymnasium of Manresa School. Anchored on the theme “Journeying Together, Stronger Together,” to strengthen collaboration and camaraderie between the school’s dedicated educators and the parents’ community.

The activity served as a meaningful opportunity for both groups to connect beyond their usual school responsibilities and reinforce the Manresan Maxim: “Kapatid sa Kapwa.” It underscored the shared vision of fostering a supportive and engaged community committed to the holistic formation of Manresan learners. The day was filled with a series of insightful, enjoyable, and team-oriented activities designed to cultivate teamwork, effective communication, and shared leadership.

The program was graciously hosted by Ms. Carla Garia-Pia, who emphasized the importance of the Manresan core value of KAPWA, an acronym that stands for Kapatiran, Pagtitiwala, Wellness, and Appreciation. Each aspect of KAPWA was thoughtfully integrated into the activities. Under Kapatiran, teachers and parents participated in interactive games that fostered unity and cooperation. The Pagtitiwala segment highlighted the essential role of trust, reminding participants that true teamwork is grounded in mutual confidence and respect. These activities not only brought enjoyment but also deepened understanding and strengthened relationships among members of the Manresan community.

Beyond the fun and excitement, the event became a meaningful avenue for reflection, connection, and renewal. Both teachers and parents shared valuable experiences and insights, reaffirming their collective commitment to the holistic formation of every Manresan learner. True to the Manresan Maxim: “Kapatid sa Kapwa,” the activity served as a testament to the enduring spirit of unity, compassion, and partnership that defines the Manresa School community.

The MSPA Team-Building Activity concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and strengthened relationships among participants. It stood as a reminder that when educators and parents journey together with trust and shared vision, the Manresan community grows ever stronger—united in heart, mission, and service.
