A Triumph of Spirit and Grit: Manresa School Intramurals 2025
DEC 19
The MS Intramurals 2025 arrived with a vibrant promise of competition and camaraderie, centered around the inspiring theme: “Go Green, Play Clean, and Win with a Dream!” This year’s Intramurals were more than just a series of games; they were a testament to the school's commitment to excellence, environmental consciousness, and the unbreakable bond of the Manresan community.
The celebration kicked off with a showcase that set the bar high for the days to follow. The Eco-Sport Ambassador segments highlighted the students' ability to merge athleticism with environmental advocacy, proving that modern athletes carry the weight of the planet on their shoulders. The atmosphere reached a fever pitch during the electrifying Cheer Dance and Pep Squad Performances, where synchronized movements and gravity-defying stunts mirrored the intense preparation behind the scenes. From adrenaline-pumping sports events to crowd-favorite traditional games, the campus was transformed into a battlefield of passion and school pride. After four action-packed days of games that tested grit and determination of each grade level, the rankings were finally revealed.
The elementary ranks proved that small stature doesn't limit big achievements. Grade 6 Level led the way as Overall Champions, while Grade 5 Level battled their way to a silver finish. Not to be outdone, the Grade 4 Level rounded out the top three, showcasing the rising stars of Manresan sports.
The Senior High competition was defined by a legendary comeback. The Grade 12 "Bakunawa" finally rose to the occasion, capturing the overall title and proving their dominance in their final Intramurals. It was also a historic year for Grade 11 Ahad Ashar, who snapped a long medal drought to claim second place. Grade 10 Sandigan completed the winners' circle in third, delivering a powerhouse performance that solidified their reputation on the field.
While the trophies have been handed out and the cheers have faded into echoes, the true essence of Intramurals 2025 remains. Whether a student stood on the podium or cheered from the sidelines, the event was a victory for everyone involved. The theme “Go Green, Play Clean” resonated in every fair play and every moment of sportsmanship witnessed on the court. Resilience, teamwork, and a shared dream defined the season, proving that at Manresa School, winning is not just about the final score—it’s about the heart you bring to the game.
Congratulations to all the participants for a season that will surely be remembered for years to come!
