A Year of Blessings: Grade School Manresa Celebrates with Thanksgiving and Prayer

The Grade School Department of Manresa School celebrated a special Thanksgiving Mass to mark the end of School Year 2025–2026. The eucharistic celebration was also offered for the birthday of Blessed Antonia Bandres and the First Friday Mass, making it a meaningful time for the whole school community to come together in prayer and thanksgiving.

Students, teachers, and staff gathered as one community to thank God for all the blessings, learnings, and experiences they received throughout the school year. It also became a time for everyone to reflect on the challenges they faced and the achievements they reached together as a school community. Through this celebration, the Manresa family offered their grateful hearts for the guidance, strength, and wisdom that helped them complete another successful school year.

The Thanksgiving Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph D. Landero. Through the gospel readings and his homily, he shared the story of Joseph the Dreamer, reminding everyone that even when others hurt us, we can still choose forgiveness and kindness. May we continue to treat one another as true brothers and sisters, showing understanding, helping one another, and choosing love at all times.

Most importantly, the Gospel invites us to recognize Jesus as the cornerstone of our lives. Even when the world rejected Him, God made Him the foundation of love, hope, and salvation. As we end this school year, we thank God for being our guide in every step—helping us overcome difficulties and celebrating our successes.

Through prayers, songs, and the celebration of the Eucharist, everyone was reminded to always be thankful and to continue living with faith, kindness, and unity. The Thanksgiving Mass became a meaningful way for the Manresa Grade School family to end the school year together with grateful hearts.
