Batch Sandigan Moves Forward with their Completion Ceremony 2026

The 12th Junior High School Completion Ceremony for Batch 2025–2026 commenced on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the school auditorium, gathering families, guests, faculty and staff. The program officially began at 1:30 PM with the processional, hosted by emcees Mr. Ferdinand Ryan Arroyo and Ms. Abegail D. Bodopol.

The Grade 10 students led the entrance, followed by their advisers, the faculty and staff, and the F.I. Sisters and administration. The program opened with an introduction by Julianne Sophia A. Bauca of 10 - Providence, smoothly transitioning into the Thanksgiving Mass.

The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Francis Andrew Balmaceda, OSA, who highlighted the importance of appreciating one's experiences and those who remained throughout the journey. It included the Grade 10 Thanksgiving Prayer led by Giuliana Beatrice S. Gaba of 10 - Hopefulness, along with the blessing of diplomas, certificates, and medals.

Following the Mass, the CAT Officers of Batch 2026–2027 carried out the Entrance of Colors, followed by the singing of the national anthem, conducted by Lara Ysabella P. De Lara of 10 - Generosity. The ceremony continued with the Words of Welcome delivered by Cassandra Dominique C. Aguilar of 10 - Endurance. Her speech boldly emphasized the importance of completion, celebration, recognition, and remonstrance—values the students will carry with them as they step into the real world. Her words also touched on the pressing realities of today’s society, leaving the batch with a call to action: to take initiative and make a difference in their own ways.

The presentation of candidates followed, led by JHS Assistant Principal Mr. Jojit E. Ledesma, who introduced 165 Grade 10 completers. These were certified by JHS Principal Sr. Gemma K. Doguiles, F.I., and confirmed by Sr. Normida M. Marquez, F.I., Representative of the Congregation in the Apostolic Works (RCA).

The distribution of diplomas marked the central moment of the ceremony. Organized from Endurance to Service, each section was called to the stage, where completers were joined by their families as they received their diplomas. The Top 10 students of the batch were also recognized for their academic excellence. Awards for Best Research followed, covering both the Science Investigatory Project (SIP) and the  English and Araling Panlipunan Qualitative Research. Three groups were awarded for SIP, while four groups were recognized for qualitative research.

Plaques of appreciation were then presented to faculty members for their years of service: Mr. Dan Mark Christopher Geronimo (10 years), Mr. Darrel I. Dela Cruz (15 years), and Mr. Abundio Caranatan (25 years).

The Words of Gratitude were delivered by Carlos Miguel F. Gatbonton and Samantha E. Manio of 10 - Generosity, highlighting their gratitude for the memories, challenges, and support shared throughout their journey as a batch. Their speech was not only a tribute to the batch, but it was also a thanksgiving to teachers, families, and the Manresan community. This was especially evident when the completers stood up from their seats, faced their families, and thanked them with love. Serving as the voices of the batch, their representation best captured the minds and hearts of the completers with reverence.

The ceremony continued with the batch song, “Now and Again,” composed by Grade 10 Service and performed by all completers. The song reflects on the simple joys of being a Junior High School student, such as laughing together in a room or that warm comfort felt with friends. The overall performance captured the batch’s memories and marked their transition forward. The singing of the Manresa School Hymn, conducted by Riley Knox G. Cristal of 10 – Generosity, followed—serving as a reminder of the values that define a Manresan.

The program concluded at 5:00 PM with the closing prayer led by Enzo Miguel R. Gunayon of 10 - Providence, followed by the recessional, formally ending the ceremony.

The 12th Junior High School Completion Ceremony for Batch 2025-2026 does not mark the end of Batch Sandigan’s journey. Rather, it serves as a gateway to new beginnings, a chance to open a new chapter, and a way to discover more about themselves beyond their Junior High School years.
