A Celebration of Gratitude, Faith, and New Beginnings: Grade School’s Thanksgiving Mass and Graduation Ceremony, School Year 2025–2026
On April 15, 2026, at 8:00 in the morning, the school community gathered for a meaningful Thanksgiving Mass and Graduation Ceremony, a special occasion that celebrated the achievements of the Grade Six pupils while giving thanks for the blessings received throughout the school year.
The event began with a solemn processional, followed by the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Joseph D. Landero, whose inspiring homily centered on the importance of obeying parents and appreciating the people who have guided the pupils along the way. He reminded the graduates that behind every achievement are loving parents, dedicated teachers, supportive friends, and school staff who have helped them grow.
The Graduation Ceremony formally opened with the Entrance of Colors led by CAT officer Savannah Mary Grace Y. Beloso. This was followed by the Philippine National Anthem, symbolizing pride and unity. A heartfelt Words of Welcome was delivered by Kean Ryle Jericho G. Garcia, who warmly greeted the guests and congratulated his fellow graduates as they reached an important milestone in their academic journey. The Presentation of the Grade Six Pupils was delivered by Mrs. Iby M. Paquibot, GS Assistant Principal, while the Certification of the Grade Six Candidates for Graduation was presented by Ms. Yolanda N. Cruz, GS Principal. The graduates were then formally confirmed as completers of their elementary education by Sr. Normida M. Marquez, F.I., Representative of the Congregation in the Apostolic Works (RCA).
One of the most memorable moments of the program was the Distribution of Diplomas and Awarding of Medals, where honor pupils and pupils with special awards were recognized for their hard work and dedication. This was followed by the Awarding of Plaques of Appreciation to loyal faculty and staff members, honoring those who have faithfully served the school community.
The heartfelt Words of Gratitude were delivered by Marie Raphaelle C. Librea of Grade 6 – Self-Giving. In her message, she expressed sincere thanks to the parents, teachers, and school administrators who continuously supported the pupils in their journey.
The celebration became even more touching through the graduation songs. The song “Sixth Grade Squad” was written by Victoria Bethia R. Maximo of Grade 6 – Patience, while Olivia A. Maninang of Grade 6 – Self-Giving composed the song “The Friend Who Stays,” adding emotion and joy to the ceremony.
The event concluded with the singing of the Manresa School Hymn, followed by the Acknowledgment and Recessional, leaving everyone with hearts full of gratitude and pride.
More than a graduation ceremony, the event became a beautiful reminder that every success is made possible by the love, guidance, and sacrifices of the people who help shape each child’s future.
