Renewing the Mission: 2nd Batch of Teachers and Staff Attend Annual Retreat in Tagaytay

As school year 2026-2027 approaches, the educators and staff of Manresa School took a meaningful step back from their busy daily routines to participate in the Annual Retreat for its second batch of attendees. Held at the peaceful St. Scholastica's Center of Spirituality in Tagaytay City, the sacred space provided a serene environment perfect for reflection, renewal, and deep spiritual enrichment.

Guided by the insightful leadership of Rev. Fr. Sigmund "Munching" De Guzman, SJ, the retreat was structured around a deeply resonant theme: "Knowing Yourself, caring for others, Living the Mission."

Throughout the retreat, Fr. Munching led the community through moments of quiet contemplation and shared fellowship. The participants were invited to examine their inner selves, foster a deeper empathy for those they serve, and realign their personal callings with the overarching educational mission of the school.

This annual experience of God’s love, generously offered by the institution, stands as a vital formative activity. By stepping away from the demands of their regular schedules, the participants were able to collectively and individually reconnect with their core values, strengthen their bonds as a community, and cultivate lasting inner peace.

Ultimately, this retreat proved to be more than just a brief pause from work; it was a necessary journey of the heart that fostered both the personal and professional growth of every Manresa Educator. Refreshed, inspired, and deeply rooted in their shared purpose, the second batch of teachers and staff return ready to enthusiastically embark on another school year.
