Last September 16, 2026, the Grade School Department held its Vision and Mission Day with the theme, “Rooted in Filiation and Fraternity: Witnesses of Hope and Joy for a More Humane and Just World.” This meaningful celebration highlighted the importance of fraternity as pupils learned to practice the value of filiation. They deepened their understanding of what it means to be rooted in God’s love and reflected on their actions, words, and choices. The celebration also provided opportunities for pupils to share their ideas, insights, and understanding of the Vision and Mission Day.

As the celebration began, the school welcomed several alumni: Sir Francis Luigi S. Natanauan, Ms. Mikaela R. Dayanghirang, Mrs. Isabella Aryanna A. San Luis, Mr. Raphael Gavin D. San Luis, and Ms. Ma. Katrina S. Llegado. These former Manresans brought pride and inspiration to the pupils through their stories, participation, and collaboration in the activities and games prepared by the teachers.

Throughout the event, the pupils learned the importance of sharing their time, talents, and kindness with others. They poured their hearts into activities that inspired and enlightened their fellow Manresans, embodying the spirit of Tatak Manresa. They experienced the joy of fraternity and recognized their identity as beloved children of God. Through various activities, they discovered how faith, kindness, and shared hope can strengthen relationships both inside and outside the campus.

Among the activities were “Helping Hands,” “Joy Builders,” “Rooted in Love: Growing Together,” “I Am a Beloved Child of God,” “God Loves Me,” and “Identity Quest.” These activities helped pupils understand that God loves everyone and that we are called to recognize the presence of Jesus Christ in others. Through meaningful interactions and shared experiences, the pupils were encouraged to live out the values of love, fraternity, and compassion.

The Vision and Mission Day was truly a meaningful and enlightening experience that inspired the young Manresans to pursue their dreams with faith, determination, and hearts rooted in filiation. The celebration reminded them that Jesus Christ continually guides, loves, and cares for them. It also emphasized God’s unconditional love and encouraged the pupils to extend that same love to others.

Ultimately, the celebration strengthened the Manresan spirit and reminded the pupils of their responsibility to dedicate their time, talents, and efforts to their school, community, and the people around them. Through filiation and fraternity, they are called to become witnesses of hope and joy in building a more humane and just world.
