Safety in Action: Manresa School’s Earthquake Preparedness Drill

Manresa School conducted its School-Wide Earthquake Drill on October 1, 2026, bringing together the entire academic community in a unified effort to strengthen emergency preparedness and disaster response skills.

Students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, alongside teachers, staff, and school administrators, actively participated in the exercise. The drill provided a hands-on opportunity to practice life-saving protocols, reinforcing the vital routine of standard safety measures during seismic events.

School organizers highlighted that disaster readiness relies heavily on consistent practice and collective awareness. Beyond testing response times, the exercise focused on instilling composure and situational alert habits during unpredictable events. "Real safety begins with the right mindset," the school administration noted, emphasizing that discipline, rapid response, and teamwork build a stronger and safer community for everyone.

By conducting routine emergency drills, Manresa School continues to prioritize student and employee security, ensuring the entire campus community remains equipped to handle potential seismic hazards effectively.
