Grade School Boys Tennis Team Hailed as Division 2 Champion in 2024-2025 Inter School Tennis Association

Throughout this school year, in their maiden participation, the Manresa School Grade School Tennis Team showcased outstanding talent by competing in the Inter-School Tennis Association (ISTA) Tournament, culminating in an impressive win in the championship match against Southridge School on March 15, 2025.

ISTA was founded in 1998 by six pioneering schools – St. Scholastica, Letran, Colegio de San Agustin, Assumption College, Ateneo, and Xavier School.  The Inter-School Tennis Association (ISTA) has grown into a dynamic organization fostering tennis excellence among elementary and high school students in the Philippines.

At present ISTA proudly represents 21 active member schools and over 40 teams across the National Capital Region and Calabarzon area, providing a vital platform for young tennis enthusiasts. ISTA’s member schools participated in the annual tournament from October to February usually in the tennis courts of Collegio de San Agustin, culminating in an awarding ceremony recognizing top performers in various divisions.

Manresa School is proud for the excellent performance of our Grade School Boys Tennis Team composed of the following:

Leonardo E. Manio III – Grade 4-Harmony

Rafael Benigno A. Cablitas – Grade 3-Respect

Craig Leander Soriano – Grade 3-Courtesy

Elijah E. Manio – Grade 2-Gratitude

This remarkable achievement highlights the profound impact of sports, emphasizing the enhancement of physical and mental well-being, as well as the development of social skills and teamwork. Such growth stems from consistent practice, discipline, sacrifice, and collective effort.
